I kid. What's with all the keeping your home clean from different posters with one post?

But in all seriousness, try having two people who tend to depression, one of whom (NOT ME) has questionable standards of cleanliness (the tolerance of that man to dirt!), 3 dogs (one of whom is a husky mix!) (weirdly the shepherd/husky/malamute one barely sheds it feels like - maybe because his fur is black we don't notice it?), 2 cats...

It's a recipe for success to keeping your house dirty! Haha

(Luc was in my dream again last night...I was having a nightmare and he came and hung out with Neb and I got to give him so many kisses and it calmed me for that part of the nightmare at least...it stopped being a nightmare. I had another nightmare later. It was so real! He's come to me in dreams a few times - this time he and Neb were cuddled together and I could snuggle right in)

I dreamt of a cat of ours that passed away, and it was the best dream ever. We hung out and played and cuddled and I felt sad because I knew it was a dream but still. I was happy he came to visit me. and that he was ok.
I can usually resume dreams or nightmares where I left off when I wake up, by thinking exactly about what happened and trying to sleep immediately.
But the dream with our cat I couldn’t. I don’t know why. I haven’t dreamed of him since. But it really seemed like our cat. Not me dreaming of him. But him coming into my dreams.

Another tip.. have a sandy area directly outside the back door and a ploughed field with a creek just behind it! Oh and make sure to add a Mal and a GSD to that mix. You must also ensure that they get the opportunity to run laps in all of those places daily and you can have your own indoor sandbox…. For added bonus make sure the Mal teaches himself to get in and out of the fenced pool without human assistance lol then you also get water spotted everything.

Stay tuned for more tricks and tips.

One good thing about winter is less dog hair and no mud. When their tails get wet and they come indoors it gets splattered everywhere. My stupid dogs just have to be happy and wagging their stupid tails. DH won't wipe them down when he takes them out:-( Some days I feel one with the earth too...

I didn’t realize my house was dirty until we had a family health issue and I had to deep clean. I removed so much dirt that I never saw. If you want a dirty home, it helps to not notice dirt. Otherwise you might be tempted to clean it all the time. Now that I’ve started cleaning, I’m attacking every room, one at a time. My house will never be fully filthy again.

it wasn't a bot. I think I had my VPN on or something. I had to relog in and redo my settings, etc. This site doesn't like VPNs.
In the meantime, I woke up this morning by my dream telling me I had to let the dogs out. So I let out a whole big pack of mixed breeds, then heard the real tapping toenails of my gal-dog pacing by the bed.

Homes in movies are annoyingly clean, even their barns and attics. I aways compare them to my home. I would not like to miss the hairballs or foot prints on the floor. Last night my hubby commented that my socks looked extra cozy. I checked and they were covered in hair. We both smiled and continued watching the movie.
So here's my tip: don't wear slippers or shoes inside. Walk on socks 😅
