Hello community, My name is Veldie, I live in San Diego and I need some insight on telling me how to go about teaching and training my new German Shepherds puppies, and they are brothers 5 months old and I have had them 3 days now. How do I go by teaching them to go poop and piss in the patio area which is connected to the Master Bedroom. I have not walked them yet because of their shots that will be handle on Friday morning. That is my second Question? Before I got the 2 G.S.P. and got them home and introduced them to my other K-Nines which is 2 chihuehues Father and Son, 4 years old and 2 years old. How do I go about getting them to interact with each other and play. I play with all 4 of them at the same time. Then minutes later my 4 and 2 start showing teeth and turn and walk away. What is it I should do to get them to interact? Shadow is the dad and Kango came a year and a half later, and showing teeth he did to is son also and I have forgot to write that down on how long it took before they started playing. Now I have 2 G.S.P. What should I do how to go about it.?

First Google littermate syndrome and be ready for what you may be in for; at least they're males.
Second, there's no real reason why the four of them have to play together and I would work towards toleration not playing, there's different ages and definitely playing styles involved and although it can work 1 on 1, it may also end up in one of the Chi's getting seriously hurt.

Let them hang out and get used to each other and be safe and supervised. If they end up being good buddies and the GSD learns considerable restraint in playing, fantastic but don't count on either dog, never mind both being what you're hoping for.

GSP is German Short haired Pointer.Your GSD pups you will house train the same as any other dog,as I'm assuming the Chis were. If you're allowing the Chis to potty indoors the new pups will want to also, the scent tells them the proper place to mark.5 month old pups should be able to be house trained in a couple of days by keeping them confined in a crate when you can't directly supervise them, taking them to the area frequently where you prefer they relieve themselves..

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the others that you are in for a wild ride with 2 male littermates. While chihuahuas are German Shepherds in tiny bodies there is no guarantee they will like each other and play together. chances are it will get to very rough 'play' and someone will get hurt. I wish you had asked your questions before bringing home your GS's, Housebreaking is simply taking them out every few hours and praising them lavishly when they do go outside. Do not make a fuss when they go in the house, just take them outside then clean up the mess with non-ammonia cleaner. (Pine Sol doesn't have ammonia in it) I would not be surprised if you have one that wants to be dominant and mark their territory in the house. That is very difficult to stop.
