After a 1.5 yrs. on the forum, I decided I needed a change of my avatar pic.
Many if us keep the same pic for various reasons (easily recognized, not adaptive to change, or show and post why you haven't changed it..lol)
Many others change for various reasons (new pup, aging/changes in pup/dog, for fun - i.e. Christmas).
However, our avatar pics are barely visible and I know I would like to see a close up!
SO, show me your Avatar pic *history* with a short blurb about what that pic meant to you at time!
My (1.5 yr. - original) first pic was of a time we used to trek through the snow to the lake with barely a soul around. This pic captures his alertness/intensity, the beauty in his colour, his eyes...
New Avatar is a photo of a pic from the Evanescence c.d. "the Open Door" (sleeve)....this pic is my screen saver...Timeline (FB), and the centre of a montage of photo's on my fridge (lol). To me it is symbolic of the connection we have to our dogs.
