I have a 4 year old with a 7 month GSD puppy and a 13 year old husky. So when our kid was little, he grew up learning how to be around the husky, now with the puppy, she needs to learn to be around the kid, haha! We have a lot of rules in place about behavior around the dogs, and who gets freedom at what times. Just like teaching puppies not to mouth/bite you, you need to teach babies/toddlers not to grab, chase, lay on, pull on, etc. with the dogs. It can get to be like a mad house (I don't envy you raising a puppy and such a young baby at the same time!) but as long as you're not asking one party to just "put up with" something, you're fine.
I have a really great book I always suggest to parents with dogs, it's by Colleen Pelar, called "Raising Kids and Dogs". Pretty cheap on Amazon, and really worth it.
Here's a neat little guide I did when my son was just about a year old, too, with showing my husky's body language and how fast it can change. You can even see when we stepped in to diffuse tension.

I know you didn't have any specific questions, but those are always my favorite parts to touch on with babies. I'm always up for chatting, though!
