Anyone have a good barrier they use? I have a 08 Jeep wrangler 4 door. I use to have one of they tube kind and Lenny was good a nosing her way around it. I didn't know if they wire kind might be better like the wire mesh kind? Any experiences?

Where do you buy the cargo net? I've almost given up trying to find a barrier that will work for my Nissan Pathfinder - nothing seems to stay in place. The last one I bought was made by Kennel-Aire (well known company), and it collapsed every time the vehicle was in motion. A real waste of money....

I use it on my PT cruiser. I put it behind the front seat and hook it to the bottom of the front seat and the hand holds near the roof on the rear doors. Since I don't open the back doors and throw the child lockout-I have no trouble. They are use to the net and know they are not allowed up with me. Since I can't drive w/2 big doogs in my lab.

I too have had no luck keeping a tube barrier in place. Cement shoes perhaps? Seriously, I can hang on the thing and it won't move but be going down the highway at 70 and it becomes magic- and I have a dog almost in my lap....The net is a good idea and next on my list to try.

Thanks everyone. I think I gonna try this one. http://www.jeepcargonet.com/modules/store/productlisting.cfm It's the 8th one down. Obviously I would have her back there with the top off but I like the cargo net idea. I should be quiet and it should stay in place. I think I might have to worry about her getting under it but I could probably rig something. I'll let you know how it works.

actually, a tip that I got was to put velcro on the feet. mine has screws that you adjust to make to taller.

for now though, it's staying in place. it did fall when we first installed it, just from driving down the road. but we adjusted it until it's so tight even hubby pulling on it won't budge it.
