Charlie, my 9 1/2 month old, happens to have the best ability to destroy EVERY single toy given to him.

I understand fluffy squeaky toys, it's kinda normal I guess, but when it comes to kongs, etc....I am running out of options here.

He needs toys!!! He's alone in the house all day long and needs distraction. He does not harm furniture EVER thank God but toys? seems like enemies more than fun stuff!!

Are there any GSD proof toys? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I would give Brady Marrow bones, indestructable balls, kongs filled with something. Good luck

I like to allow my guys the joy of shredding their toys. We call it Stufficide!

But I don’t want to spend a fortune keeping them stocked. So I go to the local Goodwill and buy kids stuffed animals for $.25 each. I remove anything that might harm the dogs – like button eyes or ribbons – and let the dogs have at them.

Garage sales are another great place to find cheap stuffed animals for dogs.

I found a couple for you:

These are great and stand up well to turbo chewers. They will replace the ball if it gets destroyed.

Rafi has one of these balls and it seems pretty sturdy. They have a guarantee on the ball.

Try "Hard Core Fire Hose" dog toys. Somebody gave me one for my dog. She loves it. I think it's made of the same material that fire hoses are made of (hence, the name). It also squeaks, which my dog loves. She had the first one for about 1 1/2 years before she chewed it open. She's on her second one now, and it's holding up really well.

I have an indestructible ball (it's about soccer ball size,,might get a tad wild in the houseLOL)..

I have had this ball for over 13 years,,my first gsd, used to drive him nuts and definately kept him busy :))) No one has touched that ball since Masi came 2 months ago,,and now she goes totally bonkers over it,,guess I kept it all these years for her :)))

Panzer is a powerful chewer and we get him a nylabone. We get him the biggest ones they have. They last for a year to a 1.5 yrs. Also, the firehose toy is great!

We also go to garage sales and Goodwill for stuffed animals that way if he rips up a toy for 25 cents I do not care!
