I am new to this site and have a question about my seven month old GSD. About a couple of weeks ago she started vomiting in the middle of the night. It is not very much just a little bit of her food. She does not eat very fast. I took her to the vet but they did not seem to concerned about it. Thanks for your help.

Probably acid or something. Mine did that more frequently than I could tolerate. I would wake up at around 4 AM to him vomiting. I would come home and he would have left me a present. I changed his feeding schedule. Instead of 2 meals a day, he now gets the same amount of food, 4x a day. His last meal is at 10 PM, he hasn't vomited since. I feed his first breakfast at 6 AM and then again at around 8 AM. No more issues.
My GDS actually just turned three years old today and he vomited about every single day the first two years of his life.(Although his vomiting occurred every morning before his breakfast.) He also had severe diarrhea about twice a week in the middle of the night for the first year. My vet told me that digestive issues are notorious among GSD's. But long story short he is doing just fine now so I suppose it must be more of a puppy thing. Hope that helps!
Is there stress in her environment, among her owners? I won't go into details but improving my life in the past caused my (first) dog's nausea to go away. Before that he threw up daily.
