Yes to both. The other side is normal. We made a vet appointment and also sent them pictures.

Look up pictures of "lip fold pyoderma." If that's a match, we have lots of threads on it (with a very good home remedy that's a German diaper creme, but only that exact brand seems to work).

 

Same as my 4 year old, did you sort this ? My vet gave us steroids and antibiotics but didn't work. They've said they want to sedate him ! I've just ordered penaten .

 

Did you ever find out what it was? My pup just turned 1 last week. He also was given steroids, wipes & now an antibiotic and neither worked.

Dog lip fold dermatitis. Try cold pressed coconut oil first. If that doesn't work use hydrocortisone ointment. Highly recommend the coconut oil.

 

Go through photos of "lip fold pyoderma." If it's a match, there are numerous posts about it (including one with a German diaper crème that works really well as a home treatment, but only that particular brand seems to work).
