Any clue as to why they would howl ? with our first GSD I took it he knew there was a female in heat a couple of houses down, I don't know if that was ever true or why. Duke lately has howled a couple of times. I think its quite funny but wondered what might make them howl ? Doesn't seem like anything is happening out of the ordinary, kids playing, same cold weather, nothing has changed in the house.
And when petting Duke he throws his paw in your lap or if I am sitting in my recliner he throws it on the side, I think its the most adorable thing ever and I believe its just a sign saying rub me more LOL because when I say "all done" he removes his paw nicely.
