My Morgan is a year old today. I miss her so much. Due to where we are living right now a friend of ours is taking care of us for her. I have not seen her in 3 months. I hope to visit her soon. I just hope she has not forgotten who I am.

My Sika spent very close to 2 years away from me, and 2 weeks ago, walked back into my house like she had never left.

When I left my SAR dog with my team she went through 3 handlers. Two years later I was staying in the home of the definitive one and she remembered perfectly that it was allowed to sleep with me in the bed, something she had not done all that time with anyone.
Now I took care of my roommate dog by two months, Uzume loves me, but you bet she rememberer her mommy!!

I have been deployed twice to the gulf (on my second one now). All my dogs remember me when I get home. I think in thoer minds I just took a long trip to the store.
