CJ has been rejecting his food for about a month or so now. We went to the vet and she said that it was acid reflex and we did 10 days of pills which seemed to help. However the throwing up has stopped but now he's scratching like crazy at the side of his head to the point of it bleeding.
He has been on the same food since he started eating solid foods. We tried to "spice" it up with putting treats in or something but he just sniffs it and walks away. If we leave it down long enough he will eventually eat it but before this all started I remember timing it that he would eat and eliminate within six minutes. Now it takes anywhere from a half hour to an hour.
Any suggestions as to how to get him to eat again or what you think it might be would be awesome!
