I wonder why he doesnt like car rides? Zoey wants to jump in every time the hatch opens lol.

Sometimes we drive around the neighborhood just because.....

 

He gets car sick. I have to make sure I don't feed him beforehand or he'll puke all over. I don't think he'd ever been in a car before he arrived in the rescue I got him from, but I'm hoping maybe it's just my car that he doesn't like because it's a 2-door and he can't stick his head out the window (though I've put him in the front seat and he'll just slink down to the floor anyway). Gives me more of an excuse to get a new car!

 

Poor guy, it took mine some time to get use to car rides, they liked them, just got sick some times.




This is Tuke and then some, she'll even try to get into neighbors cars while we are out for a walk.

 

my dog loves riding in the car and he sits like that often
when we're riding around. what looks awkward to us maybe
comfortable to the dogs.

 

IF you try benedryl, the dosage is 1mg per lb of body weight. So fifty lb dog would get 2 25mg pills.
