poor fella. Looks so forlorn. I have never seen a dog tail looking like that. I hope he gets a home soon. I know he'll gain weight and his coat will look better. And he'll be more handsome when he's happy. But will the hair on his tail grow back?

 

Aww, terrible looking tail. He needs some love.

 

It looked to me like the hair loss was due to wet environment, I've fostered puppies with this "rat tail" and hair loss on the ears the hair came back just fine. Would need to have a vet to a skin scrape to rule out other causes.

Poor boy looks so sad. I'll bet he misses his roomie. With good food and loving care he'll be a handsome man. Hope his angel comes for him soon.

 

Surely there is a place for this boy to go. He is beautiful.

His roomate left today, I hated to leave him behind, I wish I had a place for him to go to. A women who has a bite case being held here said she would donate $200 to help him.. I've met him.. he is a nice dog. There are just so many, I do sleep knowing how many we do save.

 

Sending prayers and positive thoughts that the angels will find a place for this sweet boy.

 

With a 200.00 donation surely that will make a difference

 

if you can, have his thyroid function checked; that tail suggests hypothyroidism...looks just like my boy's before i figured it out and got him tested

 

I am praying that someone will rescue him! His roomie will (fingers crossed!) be on his way to live with us soon and I felt so bad when I first saw his pictures with my boy. I can't get him out of my mind, and I keep thinking how sad he must feel now that he's lost his buddy. Hopefully with the generous donation from the kind lady who offered to help will get something going for him.

This poor guy cannot have long left. Is anyone working on a plan for him? He is beautiful and just needs a little care.

 

I just called the shelter about this boy and am waiting on a call back from Jamie. The girl who answered the phone said this boy really needs help as he has had a horrible life. She didn't elaborate on that but obviously he needs help quickly.

 

This guy is very friendly according to Jamie and needs help so much and quickly. He is in sad shape and needs to get out of the shelter. Time is extremely limited.
