As I sit here this morning drinking my coffee Max has a serious case of the zoomies :wild:. If you remember I am without a screen to my patio right now. Well hubby just taped some screen up so we could open the door.

Max has been running in and out the screen, from kitchen to deck for the last 5 minutes. I can't help but sit here and .

Gotta love the cooler weather, I just hope my house can with stand it! Oh honey...Max needs a sibling :D

 I love it when they get the zoomies. It's just too funny.
Don't you love that happy face and wild-eyed look they get? Iska's been zooming every morning lately when I take her out. I can't imagine how she can go from sleeping all night to 50mph in an instant. It takes at least a cup of coffee for me to even want to move.

Don
my dog doesn't have a bad case of
the zoomies (zoomies; i love that word).
when we're in the house he'll get
one of his balls and pace back and forth
with it while shaking it. i translate that
as pay attention to me. when my dog does
this i'll play with him in the house or we'll
go outside.

usuing the zoomies to get another dog
is brilliant.

I agree with doggiedad: what a fantastic excuse to get a pup!
Stosh had a bad bad case last night just before bed- we were out for the good night potty time and I heard a bunch of coyotes howling and yipping so I called my husband outside to listen. Stosh thought it was playtime and did the goofy run and wild eyes, then he started racing around the circle drive doing drive-by body slams on us. Terrible behavior but really fun!
drive by body slams, that's hilarious.

Abby does this. Except instead of body slams she does drive-by biting.
Full tilt zoomies biting at anything thats bitable...nothing to do except
protect any valuables until its over...
"drive-by body slams" that IS funny !!!
XTOL: My kaiser does the drive by nipping as well!! Only to my wife tho. I've posted with concerns in other sections about this. Makes her nervous. He doesn't bite and break skin...but he got her on the butt cheek last week and left a bruise!! BAD DOGGY!!! He only does it while he's "zooming"!!
Dodger got the zoomies lsat night big time I kept putting him on his bed to calm down and I'd no more than sit down for a second and he'd start back up again lol. It'd be funnier if we didn't have a house full of hand blown glass that my mom and late step-dad had bought together. When we get our new wood floors the zoomies will have to come to an end, don't want him hurting himself or breaking something sliding in to everything. The look of his face when he starts is hilarious he gets this stupid happy look and his ears go back and he gets this crazy look in his eye and lowers himself closer to the ground and off he goes. He know's it's wrong so he'll slid to a stop at my feet and roll over on his back with the stupid happy look still on his face like "aren't you proud of me mommy? I stopped all by myself see?" lol
Just got to love it.
Bet my dog's zoomies are funnier than yours. She does a play bow and than zooms around the yard. Just one zoom, because then - it hits her. "Wait, I'm 12.5 years old. Ouch! My hips, my hips. Darn, why did I do that?"
Wolfie had the Zoomies today after I vrushed him. He hates being brushed so as soon as I let him go, he was zooming all over the house. LOL!
Oh the days of the drive by's- I only get that outside now when she has a stick. On a side note zoomies on wooden floors are great- they skid out, fall all over, look at you like why did that happen, and do it all over again:D
You mean like that? :D

I miss those days...
@Mrs.K Okey that's funny  At first I was like "What's a Zoomie" then I saw that, and now I totally understand the word
LMAO!!! LOVE IT!!!! Shasta gets the zoomies when we go on our walks. The second her feet touch grass or dirt its all over with. and she's tying me up with the leash lol. She IS leash trained but grass or dirt..... oh buddy...
Mrs K that is to cute!
any time Skylar touches grass on walks it's instant zoomies, so cute. It was cute when she was younger, now its just hilarious watching my 45 pound puppy zoom all around the yard. :wild:
