Crazy how quickly time has passed! Half of them have gone to their new homes across the country! I have a couple club members who have volunteered to foster one, so we can start their training and get them separated. We are keeping back one male and a female and putting some Narcotics training on them. They will be placed as Duel Purpose K9s. The rest I will wait until I find good sport homes for! These pups have kept me very busy, but all the research and planning that went into this litter is paying off. We are super happy with them!

Here are a few pics ranging from 6.5-7.5wks

Yes I am in Colorado, and LOVING it I must add. :)

*sigh* and I have 3 boys left ;)

They are a lot of fun, but my legs have def looked better. I have to go to a swim party with the kids I nanny next weekend, and I'm afraid of what people will think... there are so many cuts and bruises!

Here's a pic of mama. As you can see, she has hurt herself again. Our second weekend back to training, and she sliced up her paw on some metal edging or glass out in the field chasing balls. It was BAD, never seen so much blood before! I didn't even ask this time how many stitches she needed. Second trip to the E-vet with her in the last two months. :(

At least she has a cool camo bandage, eh?

The pups look great!

I have always admired the Dutchies, great breed but not sure I am that good of a handler yet.. ;)

Poor Momma and her hurt leg, she looks so upset in that last photo... give her a squeeze for me. Hope she feels better soon.

i'm from C. Springs. I miss home more than i can say. I'm just not as happy living in NC but military hubby and this is where we got stuck.

Your girl is absolutely beautiful. Was she the one that was posted a while back with mammary issues? I dont know what the condition is called. But it looked pretty bad. Was that her?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a male. I love my shasta girl but i'm burnt out on females. The next dog i get will definitely be a male. Theres just something about males i prefer. The no bleeding thing every 6 months could have something to do with that. I just cant get over how adorable those pups are!!!! Mama is very beautiful. How much does she weigh?

Haha yeah! I wish I had done it the other way, with the sun shining into the car instead of shining from behind!

Yep, that was Zonya with the Mastitis. She just hurts herself so often that I'm kinda immune to it now. Everyone at the club was like "whoa, you handled that really calmly" and I just laughed. Its not the worst thing she's done to herself!

When you come in January, you may visit the pups we're keeping back. I'm sure we will still have them then.

I'm originally from MI, and the only thing I miss is the water. Love the weather out here, waking up to sunshine 300+ mornings a year, all the wilderness to go get lost in, the mountains, how friendly people are... the list goes on and on!
