Of course dynamics will change. I love both our girls and enjoy them both. But it certainly changed my relationship with our older one. We had to learn to share time, toys and experiences. I still miss how easy one dog is some days.
Dynamics do change, sometimes only slightly and other times it can be more dramatic depending on the dogs. Be sure to keep your senior safe from the puppy antics to come in the near future. We are currently in this position as my girls are heading into their senior years and neither has much tolerance for the new guy.
We still keep a close eye on Zeus when he plays with Sampson. Sampson sometimes just wants to chill and Zeus wants to know lay!!! Thanks for the great advice.
