Hi My name is Max. I am 6 yrs old. When I was a young pup I got my tail in the way and it was amputated. But I still am a happy boy that would love to go home to a family.

I have been going to post him there & seen this post here ! I have been told by a local trainer that this shelter is NO longer a no-kill shelter !

I am going in there tomorrow to check on a dog for somebody else. I would be glad to temperament check this fella. Our rescue can't take him right now because we are full.

Sorry, I just made it there yesterday. This boy is wonderful but getting stressed in the shelter environment. This boy wants OUT! One of the volunteers is trying to take him out more often so that he gets plenty of exercise, but he really needs OUT! I don't think that they will keep him long as they are very, very full. They are expanding, but there are just so many dogs. I haven't seen them this full in a long time. This shelter is great to work with. There is a transport heading to NY later this month, if anybody is interested. If I do an adoption, I would like to take him, but I am full of males right now and adoptions are way down!!!

I just saw this boy again today. What a nice boy!!! He was out playing with a bunch of other dogs (all sizes). He came up for a pat on the head and then was off to play some more. He would make a truly wonderful companion for somebody.
