I'd rest him for the next week, maybe some baby aspirin to help inflamation and pain. NO jumping and control the tears around the yard. My dogs are constantly injuring themselves and rest usually does the trick.

If it's more serious and doesn't seem to be improving in a week, then it's off to the vet we go...
