OK - I shaved the excess fur off of Kodee's lazy ear, and holy cripes! I shaved enough fur off that one ear to make a whole 'nother dog! No wonder people say clip the ear hair off of coated GSD's ears if they're not going up! And amazingly enough, he paid absolutely zero attention to the electric clippers while he was gnawing on a raw chicken leg!

He has nicely propotioned ears, you would think they would go up with no problems.

Thanks FourDogs. He will be 8 mos old on 3/12. I love his furry ears - I hated to shave his fluff off, but it was kind of fun using the clippers on him.....hmm - maybe I should become a dog groomer.
