My pup is 7 mo. About a month ago he cut the top of his head trying to fit under a chair.
Broke skip and was bleeding ( about the size of a pea) since then I've been putting neosporin in it. As soon as it looks likes its healing. With a scab he'll be playing with my girl pup and it will come off bleed and get bigger. It's about the size of a quarter today and bleeding again
Yesterday he went to the vet for a nail trim and it was almost healed , the vet checked and and said to continue what I was doing...but this morning it's bigger..any suggestions?

If you can get it you could try some Manuka honey on it
Just gotta stop the other dog licking it off.
Would it be possible to not let them play till its healed up?
There's not a lot of tissue on the top of the head which is possibly why it's not healing up very fast.
Maybe he needs an Elizabethan collar on till it closes up properly

I'd try an e-collar and if necessary clean with a warm saline solution.

if you use the Manuka honey, make sure it is UMF15 or higher. It should state this right on the bottle. I believe Wegman's has it and most health food stores are staring to carry it.

Rejuva spray would also do the trick. And calendula.
