Clears up my dogs eyes within a day if they get red and watery. I've noticed that if I need it, then they do to. My vet is also okay with that.

It helps the swelling from bee stings also, especially on the face.

Benadryl helped Taz with his allergies from walking in the grass. He would lick his paws raw, until the vet tried it. I didn't like how sleepy it made him, so the area where he did his business, I put pea gravel down and it was great after that. To this day I still have that area for Jonas and no problems. Benadryl also was given to Jonas when I picked him up for his 4 hour ride when he was 8 weeks old. It worked wonders and he slept like a baby for the whole ride.
