Whats the difference?

(Hope this is the correct section)


I was wondering what the difference was between von, vom, v. in a dogs registered name and what they mean because I see some have vom and others have von or v.

I know it sometimes depend on the breeder or kennel name of the breeder.

Also, I know the the owner can usually pick the registered name but that's it.
