(Hope this is the correct section)


I was wondering what the difference was between von, vom, v. in a dogs registered name and what they mean because I see some have vom and others have von or v.

I know it sometimes depend on the breeder or kennel name of the breeder.

Also, I know the the owner can usually pick the registered name but that's it.

I'm pretty sure the v. is an abbreviation of either one. If I'm wrong on that, sorry! But that's all I got.
