you have to keep the thing on for at least 24 hours straight before it starts to work and you also have to have it on tight enough so that only 2 fingers can fit under it....it has to be in contact with the dog's skin.
What Tick/Flea Preventative do you use?
Looking for experience with Tick prevention for my Puppy. She's 17 weeks. We have a vet appt on Thursday and I got Preventix Collar from the vet last saturday for the interim... we found a tick on Friday!

Sorry I was half playing with her/ half typing! We found the tick on Friday and got the collar the next day (Saturday).
