Well, I finally got my senior dog to eat some (mostly) raw meat (I had to sear it a bit). Pork roast did the trick.

But I still can't get him to touch a chicken bone. From my understanding, most (all?) other bones are "wreck-it" bones, so I don't want to try those. Eating just the pork meat is making his stool.... explosive. I don't have access to squirrel or rabbits to try those types of small bones.

Are there any other bones he can eat to fulfill the 10% RMB?
If not, what can I do? Should I just give up on feeding this stubborn old pooch a RAW diet?

Edited to add: He has regular vet checkups and his teeth are fine, so there are no apparent health issues preventing him from crunching the bones.

I would get a chicken neck and a hammer and take out all your frustrations on that neck! :) Smash those bones to crumbles and see if your dog will eat that.

Remember - raw meat has very little odor. Kibble is sprayed with fats to make it smell APPEALING to dogs.

You can sear a chicken leg, too - just don't fully cook it.
