It's really hard to tell when they're that young. It's much easier to tell when they're matured. :)

Also, keep in mind even if both parents are pure it doesn't mean the puppies will get 50/50 of the genetics. They can end up with almost all of the dads, or mom's. (For example some wolf/dog crosses end up looking almost all dog)

I believe the black and tan saddle pattern is a dominant gene, so the coloring is possible. Very cute!




Edit:
Trying to look it up, but I'm finding stuff that says saddles are dominant and some that says they're recessive. So I can't help there, if it's dominant it's possible. If it's recessive I believe it is not because both parents have to carry the gene and I've never heard of it in GRs.

Honestly, that earset to me says Golden or even Lab. The coloration is GSD.

She is a cutie. I have only had her 5 weeks and we are both already so attached. I love seeing her grow and how her coloring is changing. I can't wait to see what she looks like when she is fully matured.
