I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and realized when I walk my puppy or dog, they're most likely going to use the bathroom. Pee is not what has me concerned, but the "solid waste" does. You can't just leave it there unless you live in the country. When I get my pup, I will no longer be in the country. It says in one of my books to take a zipper bag with you along walks and when you take your puppy out to use the bathroom. After you put it in the zipper bag, what do you do with it then? Do you put it in the garbage can? What are you supposed to do with it?

Also, I read in a Dog magazine that these people had their sewer system modified and they dump the "solid waste" in there along with their waste.

I carry the plastic grocery bags tie it off then dispose in the outdoor trash at home.
There are doggie sewer systems you can buy and put in your yard (they require digging and be placed underground). Their are enzymes you purschase to help break it down.

This is what I do at my beach house. In my year round home, I throw it in the woods.

Pick it up and put it tied poo bags. The used poo bags go into a seperate "poo container" that is lined with a plastic bag. The night trash is gathered for morning pick up the big plastic bag with used poo bags gets put in regular trash can.

I save plastic bags from the grocery store and re-use them for the poo. I don't like putting it in the trash right away because even if I have it tied, I can still smell it when I open the can. I put the tied bags outside in a spot that isn't really seen, and then come garbage pickup day, I put the bags in a kitchen garbage bag and put them on the road.

Someone said they were in a hurry to dump the doggy doo.... so they threw the poo into the roaring fireplace. They said that was a VERY BAD MISTAKE!

I just cleaned my neighbors dog pen out of months of poo. You know the size of those large white buckets ( you can also purchase them at TSC)....well I filled it full. Tossed the doggie doos into the woods nearby.
