I always have a pound or two of blood left over when I package up food that I generally throw out. Does anyone package this and feed it? It has lots of good things in it (calcium, phos., iron, magnesium). is it worth saving to feed?

I've always fed it to them.

I'm not a pure raw feeder -- my dogs also get kibble and home-cooked food -- so I'll put the blood on top of their kibble or cook it down into gravy or put it in the stew pot along with the other ingredients. But if you wanted to stick with pure raw feeding, I don't see any reason you couldn't just serve it in bowls.

Or make popsicles, that's a good idea too.

I feed it too. Well, I will give them enough to add to one meal but if there is more blood than will fit in one meal I dump it down the drain. I don't like the idea of a container of blood in my fridge lol.
