He is 6 1/2 weeks old right now and you can hardly tell from the pictures but he isn't black and tan he is black and silver. Its almost a dusty silver, my friend thinks he might be a dark sable but he has markings like a black and tan he's just not tan. Will he stay silver or will his color change? P.S I like the silver, its adorable.

He is black and tan. The tan is light - thus some people might call it "silver", but it is still tan genetically - just possibly with light pigment...he will lose most of the black, and should end up looking more like his parents.

Lee is right - he will be black and tan with the tan appearing almost white because of weak pigment. Silver is just washed out pigmentation - there is no such color.
