I had the girls over night, so I let them play with puppies (piranha).

We woke at nine-ish -- festival yesterday and did not get to sleep until after 1. I let them hold the baby pups, and then we had breakfast, and they helped me with all the dogs.

Before I knew it, it was 1 o'clock and we were LATE.

We loaded two land-sharks up and headed over to PA on the lake, where one of my pups (now almost 7 years) lives. We spent a few hours visiting over there and letting the dogs run with the puppies. What a great time.

I brought them back and put the pups away, then took the kids down to see the ravine. Then over to the grand-parents for Father's Day. And then we drove back to the other side of Cleveland to my sisters.

I brought cheese popcorn and pretzels, and planted myself to watch game 7 of the NBA Finals.

WE WON!!! Cleveland won!!!! We were screaming. Then we ran outside to listen to all the neighbors screaming.

It was AWESOME!!!!

What a day!

Congratulations on the WIN. Sound like you made memories all day!!

I bet your kids love playing with the pups. Mine would be ecstatic to have a lap full of puppies.....

The girls are my nieces. They are 9. Their mom will not let them have a dog until they are 12, IF they are responsible. So they get their dog-fix from me.

So great, the game that I recorded to watch when I get home, that I avoided all news sources so I could be surprised I now no longer have to watch.
Really not cool putting the "Cavs won" part in the title.

What a sour puss. Cleveland hasn't won a championship since 4 years before I was born and you are going to try to rain on my parade. Too bad, I am so high that it just ain't happening!:grin2:

Really happy you get to enjoy yourself. To bad that now I don't because of your lack of etiquette. Putting the results of a contest as the title is just insensitive to others.
I wanted to enjoy the game. You have taken that from me. I have a right to be a "sour puss".

Well, it would be safer to avoid the internet altogether, if you don't want to accidentally come across spoilers, for anything and everything.

I avoided the sports sites. This isn't a sports site and I didn't figure someone would be inconsiderate enough to put it on the title.
I just browsed active topics.

I would think that you wouldn't even go online if you didn't want to know who won, my goodness! Don't blame Sue (selzer)--She and other Ohioans have waited a long, long time to be able to say "Cavs Won!!" in the same breath as "NBA Title."

It's just bad etiquette. Just because it hers do it doesn't make it ok.
Title could have bee "What a day, we won the NBA Championship"
Putting spoilers in the title is wrong. Make people click on the thread before finding out results.
I've read books that have become movies, should I start putting the ending up as a title the day before it's released. Or even game of thrones. No one put up the endings before they aired people who read the books were polite enough to put it in the thread.

Yeah, if you don't want spoilers, you NEVER go online.

Maybe there are no cav's fans where you are, but you couldn't have taped the game around here and expected to watch it blind of the score. 98% of the people are wearing cav's gear, and all of them are screaming and celebrating. It's hard to imagine that an hour and a half after the game was over there were still people somewhere that were unaware of the outcome.

I work second shift, so most games I cannot watch. I listen. Yes, that is right, I listen to basketball live. It is possible to listen to football -- better than listening to tv announcers, really. And baseball, well listening to baseball is better than watching it. But basketball is so back and forth that it takes something a little more to follow the game through radio. But when you are a fan, and you don't have cable or the ability to get any channels, you make do.

Not having television/cable or dish or internet access to games, the concept of recording the game and watching it in its entirety never crossed my mind. Sorry about that. Now it is time for you to get over yourself, because it really isn't wonderful etiquette to call people out and shame them over a public board either.
So, I will hold onto my belief that you have sour grapes over the outcome and want to rain on my parade. Still not happening. I haven't really come down from yesterday's high yet.

I could go. I need to find where it is going to run from. I can park down at my sister's building and probably walk to wherever it will be. Probably. And the go on to work from there.

I have seriously considered it. I hate driving in Cleveland. But the building is really right off 90. I am really tempted.
