So i was grooming Shasta this morning, nails trimmed, brushing out her coat.... all that fun owner stuff. I found a flea on her. I am soooooo POed!!!! Now i have to go through cleaning the entire house, spray everything down and bath the dogs a couple times a week until i'm convinced the stupid fleas are all gone. It also means i get to the call the exterminating company to come out and respray the yard (for free since i found a flea since they sprayed last week) and i need to make a trip to the vets office for some capstar on top of the advantix. UGH! This is so frustrating!!! Just before winter sets in too. WTH?! Guess my halloween is going to be extra busy. Doesnt Neem Oil work to rid fleas and keep them away?

lol and i cant wait to leave this place!!!! too many freaking bugs. too hot. too humid. no snow except MAYBE once a year where i'm at. Anxiously waiting for our move to maryland for snow and easier bug maintence!!!

yeah they've been getting bathed with dawn dish soap. Not sure how i would use borax for fleas. I cant put it on the dogs can i? i know i can mix it with sugar and use it against roaches but thats about it.

NO KIDDING!!!!!! Its not natural how big those things get around here!!!! I took the trash out a while back and i swear there was a spider so big outside i was convinced it was a tarantula baby. i FREAKED. Dropped the trash on it and booked it back inside screaming. Exterminator was called and paid extra to come out right away. I seriously hate this state. Snakes, spiders, attack deer... I wanna go home!!! There are no fleas in CO, the spiders arent big enough to eat my dogs or carry off my kids. No gators... dont have much concern for a poisonous snake showing up on my porch.... smells better in CO. No ridiculous humidity.... water tastes better.... just crazy here.
