Very frustrating

Unfortunately rex suddenly got sick and the regular vets have no idea what it is his they did blood work stool urine samples everything came back negative. Hes now at a specialist to determine what hes fighting. He has a fever and its going down a but but not much. He’s starting to eat again little bits at a time better improvement when he wasnt eating at all. Hes drinking water just fine no vomiting no diarrhea hes just acting very sluggish very Tired not acting like himself. Doesn’t want to walk, play, just wants to sleep and lay about which is probably to do with the fever. Hoping these vets find out and hope it isn’t serious its very frustrating when theres no answers. This is unknown at the moment just taking one step at a time..

My sister in laws dog had a virus recently, blood tests didn’t bring anything back and she was poorly for about 10 days in the end. It’s so worrying when you don’t know what’s wrong!
Fingers crossed he’s on the mend soon!

Thank you! Im keeping all my fingers and toes crossed!
I really, really hate when my dog gets sick because a lot of the time I just don’t know why, so off to the vets I go. Switching gears a little bit, I somewhat had the same feeling of hopelessness when my very young kids were sick. I was ecstatic when the kids could finally talk to find out what was bothering them. Now, if we can only get our dogs to talk. Then again, I probably would not want to hear what he/she had to say.

Hope the pup is back in action soon.

If only!! Thank you i hope so too you just want them to be healthy and happy🥺❤
Get better Rex! Let us know as you can Kiki, we're all rooting for him to be back to his usual self sooner rather than later. He will get better, but nothing is worse than seeing them unwell.

Have they run a tick panel? I don't know, but if there are ticks in your area with Lyme's disease or some of the other stuff... Just a thought.

He’s currently staying in a specialist Seeing him like this is hurting us💔 im crying every second any picture i see of him its really hard but im staying postive.
The good news is the tests they did turned out negative thank god🙏 We are just waiting on results if he possibly has meningitis.. if so he will have treatment. Im hoping the fever goes down tonight then he can come home! And I’m hoping they find the root cause!

Thank you❤‍🩹 i cant wait to see him soon!
Go Rex! That pic reminds me of Nebbers (now 15) when he was around Rex's age, he got pancreatitis and spend a little while in the ICU, I remember visiting him like that. I am sure Rex will be back to normal soon, just like Neb was! Thanks so much for updating us on how he is.
