HI - first welcome to the board. I looked at your intro and noticed he eats rawhides - not good! Small pieces can break off and cause an obstruction. Since he is only 3 months old, I would probably check with the vet. I'm in Mercerville (obviously not too far from you if you're in Trenton). It is pretty hot out today and you want to limit time outside.

Is he still acting lethargic? Has he eaten anything since he vomited (a treat perhaps)? Did he keep it down? Not to be disgusting, but what did the vomit look like? If it were yellow/scrambled egg like then he needs something to eat, his tummy is too empty.

Get back to us with more details and we'll keep trying to help.

What vet do you use? If they are closed, then keep this number on hand in the event anything changes with your little guy 609-259-8300 it's Veterinary Surgical and Diagnostic Specialists, they are near the outlets in Jackson. They are a 24 hour facility with awesome vets. You can even just call them if you have questions.

I agree, probably just the heat but keep an eye on him. Maybe let him lick a few ice cubes or give him some chicken broth. Keep us posted.

How long have you had him? Where did you get him from? There are vicious strains of parvo going around our area (I work at a vet in Hamilton Twp). The i/d food is good for settling his system. Don't let him plow through the food nor glup the water. Slow and steady right now.

Keep the number of VSDS by your side this weekend - take him there if his symptoms don't improve rather than Banfield.....please.
