Well, we have been managing Diesel's megaesophagus since we found out about 3 weeks ago....and I'm so happy to say he is responding wonderfully! We have had no further regurgitation incidents, and I am truly hopeful that he will be in that small percentage that grows out of it. He is just the sweetest little boy ever.
For now we hold him up and feed him (since he's still small enough to do so lol) and continue holding him for about 15 minutes after. The funny thing is...he just sits there! He loooves to be held. I can't imagine when hes big and can't fit in our laps anymore!

Thanks to everyone for the support and advice. Our little boys are growing up fast!

I've raised TWO GSD's to healthy adulthood that have mega and it sounds like you are on the right path.

Keep aspiration pneumonia at bay. Have your puppy gain weight to grow normally, and EXERCISE to keep fit!

Good luck!
