Has anyone used one of these? They're similar to pinch collars but plastic. Brenna responds well to a prong collar, so I thought this might work well also, but I had a few questions.

1. How sturdy are they? Do they come apart too easily?
2. Is it easy to put them on and take them off?
3. Do they have the same basic effect as a prong? I don't need to use hard corrections at all when she has a prong on, so she doesn't require quite as much 'oomf' as some GSDs might.

Any other tips/experiences/advice is greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

If your talking about the Good Dog Collar, I like them a lot for most dogs. Could be considered milder than the prong collar. They can be hard to snap apart as you must hold them a certain way to unsnap and snap them. I have never had one come apart or break. PetsMart sell them if you want to try one. Comes in only 2 sizes Large and Small.

I bought one a few weeks ago for Dexter and love it, i had been using the gentle leader, which did work well for him but he was always trying to get it off, so i went to the next less harsh method which was the good dog collar, he is much more comfortable with it then the head leader. I do think its harder to put on and take off then a normal prong, but it hasn't broke and I don;t think it will, it works just like a normal prong put it high up on the neck and small wrist pops to correct, it also looks like more of a normal collar, so you dont get dirty looks from the people who don;t know anything about prongs and think they are mean and curel as they walk there dog with one of those choke chains
