could anyone suggest the best training books and or videos for a relatively beginning owner / trainer . We have passed the BH

If you trained for the BH and passed, I sure wouldn't call you a beginner.

If you are past your BH I would recommend the books "Training the Behavior" by Gary Patterson and "Der Schutzhund" by Helmut Raiser. Those 2 i have enjoyed so far and are very knowledgeable.
