of having being taken care by my hubby, who, after living with me for 30+ years, still doesn't know how to train dogs but only enjoys the trained dogs. Yesterday I was at a workshop and I had instructed him not to play or work with Griff and that he (Griff) just needed to survive and as a result possibly have a trying day. But at least hubby wouldn't undo my work. When I texted him mid-day on how things were at home, the reply: "Don't know, I am grocery shopping!"
I came home and Deja, the sweetie, was just her mature self but Griff had not expected that I would return home anymore and was over the moon and besides himself. You may get the picture (he is 8 months old!).
His ego too high, his bed shredded overnight and me quickly making a plan and thought about the NILIF. Well, after being leashed during our breakfast and hanging out while we were working in the yard and him fetching balls with me, he is back to being a normal (kinda) dog and sleeping next me as I am writing this.
