Just thought I'd share this (hoping nobody tells me it's harmfull in any way). I accedently found out that my puppy REALLY doesn't like lemon, presumably it's too acidy. Anyway, after that we started putting lemon (squeezed lemon juice in a spray bottle) on things I don't want him to chew on (for a period my shoes and hands as well).
He get's really cranky when I take out the lemon and he will bark like mad while I put it on a plant he wants to chew on.. Then he tries to lick it off and he gets a face like humans do when trying something really sour and goes of with a very annoyed look on his face, can't help but laugh
My vet said it's perfectly ok as long as you don't give him whole lemons to chew on (not like he would anyway).
