it snowed pretty heavily last night, & when beamer went out this morning she ran around in it for a few minutes, then cried to come back inside.

so i let her in & 3 minutes later she was whining at the door & staring at the snow.

she did this last time it snowed, she wants to go out & play, so i let her out & she will come back inside for a minute, & want to go right back out again.

what do i do!

i agree go outside with her and throw snowballs, or make a snowman and see how she reacts to it! Mya stands in the yard and barks at the snowmen we make, its so funny to watch!

When I read your post had to smile a bit because I thought the snow was driving you crazy and not the dog.

As some of you know we had anywhere from about 14 inches to 2 feet of snow here in Southern Wisconsin. The dogs, my GSD and his friend Abby will play all day in the stuff so I have no idea why your dog doesn't do the same.

Just one suggestion, when your baby is nappiong take the dog out, even if only for fifteen minutes or so, and play with the dog. In short, perhaps the dog needs someone to play with.
