I have been having a bad day. Feeling grumpy and overcast... like the weather.

I finally got myself bundled up and took Ole out. It was awesome to watch him tear around like crazy. Today was particularly exciting. Because of the fresh layer of snow, Ole had to sniff and dig a bit to find all of the messages his friends left him.

I agree, whenever I'm feeling bad, mad, sad, I take the dogs for a walk, and it brightens the day right up!

Remember that there are days when we HAVE to walk the dogs. And then there are days when we GET to walk the dogs. It also isn't unusual when a Have-to day turns into a Get-to day.

They certainly are a joy( most times). Can't imagine life without them.

I haven't started a day within 5 minutes of waking up without being out in the woods with my dog(s) in nearly 40 years other than days when I'm travelling away from home. Family getting up says how cold it is while I'm happy, awake and warmed up after running with the dogs.

Rain, sun, snow, wind, cold; I feel lost if I can't start my day outside.
