Hi ,
My Pup is 5 months and teething Big Time....
Her back chompers have came in and now the middle teeth are gone and her gums are bleeding . I guess they will be on the way soon. We give her a chili bone and some Ice , I know it has to hurt...... My question is how long does the teething period last ?
We finshed up companion obedience and I think we will wait until teething is over to start anything else....
Its truly amazing how these dogs can have such a impact on your life and become such a memeber of the family...

The canine teeth in the front (the "fangs") are the last ones to fall out and be replaced. Once you're past that, you're home free. I think it takes a couple of months start to finish for all the teeth to be replaced.

I would say the teething stage probably lasts anywhere from 4-8 months. It usually ends around 6-7 months though.
