Hey everyone!

I have a question for those of you who feed lg. breed puppy food. At what age did you switch to lg. breed adult? I know that some people feed puppies adult food, so I'm not asking about that...

I never fed puppy food to my dogs, but I would switch by the time they are 6 month old if I had.

I also have never fed puppy food but the standard answer from dog food companies and vets will probably be at about 12 months old.

I fed Orijen large breed puppy food for a full 12 months just like the directions on the food said. When I got my Gunner at 8 weeks old he was 18 pounds now at 1 year old he is 85 pounds that is a lot of growing. He needed a different diet than adult food to sustain that kind of growth.
Unlike others here I believe you feed puppies puppy food
