We switched Link who is 7 1/2 months from Acana large breed puppy food to Acana large breed adult food. On the puppy food his poop was fairly consistant with being firm. On the adult it usually starts firm and ends up in pudding. Any suggestions???

Is he getting too much food? How long has it been since you switched?

When you switched did you do one day puppy food one day adult, or did you do a fraze in?

We fazed it in. It has been about a week. He is eating about 1 to 1 1/2 cups in the morning and 2 cups at night. He weighs 68.6 lbs.

I don't know anything about that brand of food, but I would think that just b/c a dog does well on a puppy formula, doesn't mean he'll do well on the adult formula of the same brand. Maybe there's something in the adult formula that he doesn't tolerate? Just a thought...
