My 11 month old puppy will not stop herding my parents 8yr old pit mix. Everytime she stands or moves one step my dog is next to her blocking her way not letting her move. Clearly my parents dog does not like this and she growls. I've tried to correct it but my dog is not getting the hint that stealing and herding her is not right. My parents dog goes to the park and plays with other dogs all the time. It really stinks that she hates my dog, I can understand why though. Any tips on correcting this behavior so my parents dog can get up and walk where she pleases without getting stalked and herded?

You can always teach that a certain behavior is not correct/wanted. But a 11 mo old is still a pup, best way is to not let her herd/bully the older dog by controlling her (a leash is the first step). If you do not, then a different dog will teach her how to behave, you do not want that. Take control, dogs only do what we allow them to do.
