For the past week it's been raining here in Iceland.. Raining hard.
And these huge puddles began to form where I usually take her out for walkies and she was loving it

Has your area recovered from the volcanic ash or is there no real way to recover from something like that?

Well where I live in the west of Iceland wasn't effected by the ash.

This years crops suffered in the east where they got most of the ash and many had to result in opening up what they were saving for the animals for winter.

But as I understand all the minerals in the ash are good for the grass so farmers can expect good crops next summer.

I second this! My favorite is the last, she looks like a wild animal who caught you watching her getting ready to take a drink. I could see a print like that on my wall....absolutely beautiful!
