And I think I'll also give a shout out to my (former) vet that told me there's NO benefit to keeping a dog intact and gave me all sorts of grief about getting Ozzy neutered.

I wish they would do more studies, with several breeds.

In addition to health issues he coat changes dramatically after neuter and spay surgery. It loses its luster and become raggedy and dry looking.

I didn't realize it was already mentioned on here.
It'd be interesting if they did it with smaller breeds. I'm curious about if neutering early contributes to Poms (and other breeds) to have bad knees.

I wouldn't be surprised. Early neutering causes legginess, so ...
