A couple weeks ago, my girl got the last 2 legs for her CD. She also got all 3 legs for her RN.
I would like to enter her in an upcoming show, for Rally Advanced. I have to enter B classes, because of her CD, correct? Or is that only if she has her CDX?

Also, am I correct in thinking her jump height is her height at her shoulder? Do I have to have this officially measured before I can enter her, or can I measure her and enter her, and have her checked at the show? And who do I have check her? (she is 20 months old)

One more quick question for a friend: If a dog has NO Obedience titles, but has his RN, and the handler has never gotten an RA with a different dog, they can do A classes in Rally Advanced, right?

Thank you for your help!

If the dog has any obedience titles, it has to be entered in B classes. I had to enter my boy in B classes for rally after he got his BN.

Enter B...it doesn't make much, if any difference.

Her jump height will most likely be 16. That's the highest jump there can be in rally.

Correct, you have to enter B classes once you have an obedience title (any obedience title). It is still the exact same course that the A classes run; the only difference is that you're competing against other people who also have obedience titles and/or advanced Rally titles on their dogs, so it's (supposedly) a more even playing field.

I'd just enter at 16" unless you have an exceptionally tiny GSD. I never officially measured Pongu because whatever his height is at the withers, it's at least 20", so we're in the 16" class and that's all I need to know.

Your friend's dog would be in Advanced A, yep. :)

Thank you very much, to both of you, for your help :)
Ava is 25" at the shoulder, so it sounds like 16" will be her height.
