So, my pups' snow zoomies came up on another thread, and pictures were requested, so here are a few very poor ones. I can't actually go outside to get any, since I am (thankfully) more interesting to them than each other and the zoomies end. The pictures are all through the basement windows which is a construction zone - so they're not the most clear.

They fly around this tree - they've left a track

Caught ya..

If there aren't any toys...they'll find something

Do you have that much snow right now???

Sure do! I took all those pictures this afternoon  The dogs like it more than I do! I am enjoying having two this year - last year I was the one out playing with Kokoda!

Awesome......wish I could let Jake see snow....I crack up thinking how goofy he would be...
They either love it or hate it!! My friend literally has to push her lab out the door by lifting up her butt and pushing!! Mine on the other hand turn into little puddles of puppy!! Lots of fun :D

Wow! Either there is some illusion going on here, your black & tan is a puppy, or your all black GSD is simply massive!! Beautiful!

Kokoda (B&T) is 20 months and 65 lbs. Onyx is about a year and 90 lbs - and as you can see in the picture, he's got ribs and hips sticking out everywhere! The funny thing is that she is definitely the boss, and he gets flattened on a regular basis, poor guy.

Kokoda is Czech/DDR, and Onyx is DDR/Czech/Belgium working lines. They are actually cousins of a sort...but they both appear to take after their sires' sides (completely different lines). My husband was always a bit disappointed with Kokoda's size, but she is so agile and athletic, which I love, whereas Onyx is comparatively slow and NOT agile.

Five months later....

In honor of the fact that we have now had snow on the ground for FIVE months (151 days ) without a break, with another fresh dump yesterday :snowing: , I thought I would post some more snow zoomies from yesterday and this morning to ease the depression of everyone's pretty spring pictures! The dogs were in heaven when we woke up to a foot of fresh snow :D (Sorry, these are still through not the cleanest windows - for some reason, I haven't gotten around to cleaning them yet this spring )

The backyard...sigh

I hunt black dogs....

Found one!

I'm gonna get you...

What was that about girls being too small to overpower a big guy? :D

Jackie Chan vs Muhammad Ali

That face is supposed to scare me?

Call uncle...

We're racing...

Blitz attack...

I have big teeth too...

Oh please, not again...

Bliss...she's gone...

Friends again...

From now on I'm only allowing pictures of my dignified side...

Thanks for looking at my snowy doofs :D

Oh goodness...I'd never survive. STILL snow?! Crazy! That pics are hilarious though, especially with the great captions. Thanks for sharing! :) Hopefully spring weather finds its way to you soon.
Thanks! We had a brief bit of hope and almost all of the snow had melted before this last dump, so I'm sure it will get here eventually! Usually we get breaks throughout the winter, but this year was a bit strange.

But I wish I had your HUGE backyard!!!
I can't honestly imagine not having it with GSDs - we were looking at lots not too long ago, and I refuse to consider anything with a smaller yard! We're still leaning towards 10 - 20 acres, which would be even better. But this one is big enough for them to really stretch their legs and get some speed up.
