My name is Elaine Lowry. I am a new volunteer with the Humane Society of Dorchester County. We are located in Cambridge, Maryland on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
We have a beautiful German Shepherd, 5 - 6 years old , who is not doing well in our kennel. Smoochy has issues with other dogs and he is not neutered. He is deteriorating emotionally on a daily basis. The staff told me today that he is so miserable in this situation he will have to be euthanized on January 2nd. Is there any way you can help this lovely German Shepherd?
Are there other rescues you can direct me to so we can save him?

Bad owner - and up bringing so now he has to pay with his life

Anyone able to handle a dog with a warm heart somewhere in that confused body - maybe had a owner that thought it would be great to have a big dog just to have one.

This dog is spectacular looking! Wow! And so sad that he was surrendered! Can anyone get in there to evaluate him and find out what his issues are?

This year is not starting out very well...we've already lost that poor black GSD...now it looks like we will lose a few others tomorrow....
