[Shadow's mum]

Shadow likes to sleep on her back with her legs straight up in the air (like a dead dog in a cartoon) occasionally just her paws will air jog. It's the funniest thing in the world to wake in the middle of the night and in amongst all the blankets all you can see is these long dog legs sticking up in the air.

Do your dogs do this? Or do they have other funny sleeping positions?

How funny! My Stella sleeps with her head on the pillow, and one paw touching my shoulder. Guess she doesn't want to miss out if I get up for midnight snacks.

Ozzy will sometimes sleep on his back, curved in a C shape. Then when he wakes up, he rolls to one side and STREEEEETCHES.

Deuce does that too (paw touching me). I think it's cute and always makes me smile

Faith is the only GSD I've ever owned who almost always sleeps on her back. She never starts off that way, once she gets drowsy she flips on it and will sleep for hours like that. My OES also slept on her back most of the time. I've had others sleep like that on occassion.

This was Raya's first night with us. 7 months later she still sleeps like that.
